This work is based on my experience of not connected with people very well. I was suffered from depression but try to be a normal person, that leaded me afraid to show my own emotion to people surround me, so I create a font with no rule or way to read. Only the writer and people writer told could know.
Font
First part is to create font, I pick 8-bit style to imitate QRcode, and most unit is based on a symbol like smile or key. And when a sentence was written, it shows a picture.
Laser Cut Unit
To make project more completed, I used laser cutter to cut the unit on my set of exhibition.
Viewer can make their own sentence to be formed,like puzzle.
Video
I also make a fake introduction video on set to introduce how to use it. And the monolouge is my voice but reversed. Furthermore, the content was nonsence talk with my friends.
